READYColorado

Overview

READYColorado is Colorado's source for homeland security and all-hazards preparedness information.

READYColorado began as a project funded by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) program known as the Denver Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI). Using a regional approach, UASI unites many metro area cities, emergency response agencies, and private partners together to enhance preparedness and response capabilities. The campaign moved to the State of Colorado in 2011 and is now managed by the Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (DHSEM) within the Colorado Department of Public Safety (CDPS).

Colorado is a beautiful state but not immune to hazards brought on by nature and other sources. READYColorado is here to assist you to become better prepared regardless of your age, ability, or income.

With READYColorado, you can discover the risks in your area, and the steps you can take to help you and your family face the challenges presented by these risks while enjoying every benefit Colorado has to offer.
