The Colorado Office of Emergency Management (OEM), in coordination with other state departments, will facilitate logistical support for statewide emergency operations (i.e., provide supplies and equipment) and, if required, sleeping and feeding facilities for SEOC staff. This includes coordination and sourcing of available resources. Further, logistics advises the SEOC of any anticipated shortfalls in required resources needed to support a given emergency or disaster operation. Logistics develops and maintains a current database of available resources. The database should include available public and private equipment, and personnel with special technical skills pertinent to the anticipated needs of the local jurisdiction.
