Training and Exercise Program


The integrated preparedness planning section (formerly referred to as training and exercise) primarily focuses on supporting, coordinating and facilitating training and exercise opportunities with quality educational programs and instructors, including realistic, adaptive and competency-based training and comprehensive exercise development and support.


Build capability through training and exercise based on National Incident Management Systems (NIMS) and Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) fundamentals.


Colorado stakeholders have the appropriate skills and knowledge to properly respond to an all-hazards event.
