Law Enforcement, Public Safety, and Criminal Justice Information Sharing Program

The Law Enforcement, Public Safety and Criminal Justice Information Sharing (LEPSACJIS) Grant Program enacted by HB19-1073 provides one-time funding for rural and cash-strapped local law enforcement agencies to join the Colorado Information Sharing Consortium (CISC).

Applicants must be rural or local law enforcement agencies requiring funding in order to initially join CISC’s information-sharing systems.

Allowable Use

The program funds may be used to pay for costs associated with connecting to CISC’s information-sharing systems, including computer hardware, software, or programming costs that are necessary to allow recipients to share law enforcement data and intelligence information through CISC.
