Scope
The scope of the Whole of State Critical Infrastructure subcommittee of the Homeland Security and All-hazards Senior Advisory Committee (HSAC), represents State, Local, Tribal, Federal and private entities that have a vested interest in the protection of critical infrastructure within the state of Colorado.
Purpose
Assist in the development and implementation of best practices related to the identification and protection of critical infrastructure in an effort to develop a whole-of-state critical infrastructure protection plan. This plan will establish a comprehensive database of both public and private infrastructure (critical to the physical and economic security of Colorado; identify the ways and means to protect critical infrastructure; provide assistance to local jurisdictions and state agencies with mitigating, protecting against, planning for, responding to and recovering from Critical Infrastructure incidents.
Finally, the Whole of State Critical Infrastructure Protection Plan will raise the State’s security posture through the development of public-private partnerships, interagency training, and sustained knowledge sharing.
