State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) Status 

  • Response Level 2: State EOC Activated with DHSEM Staff and Emergency Support Function 11: Agriculture
  • Recovery Level 1: State Recovery Task Force Activated

SEOC is operational Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  

Incident Support

The Colorado SEOC is supporting the Colorado Department of Agriculture (CDA) due to an increase in Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI).  The Colorado SEOC is supporting the Colorado Department of Agriculture (CDA) due to an increase in Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI). On January 29, 2026 Lt. Governor Primavaera, as Acting Governor, issued a verbal disaster declaration for avian flu outbreak.

Colorado Weather Forecast Updates

DHSEM continues to provide direct support to western Colorado due to flooding and Rio Blanco County following the Lee and Elk Fires. On January 16 Governor Polis submitted an appeal for major disaster declarations denied in December.
