2023 School Access for Emergency Response (SAFER) Grant Program Awards Announced

The State of Colorado’s legislature allocated $4,859,788 for the 2023 School Access for
Emergency Response (SAFER ) Grant Program. The Colorado Division of Homeland Security
and Emergency Management received 32 grant applications for a total requested amount of
$12,556,142. There are 13 school districts and three individual schools selected to receive funding as directed by SB18-158.  Thank you to all of those who applied for the 2023 SAFER.
