2025 Preventing Identity-based Violence Grant Program Awards Announced

DHSEM is pleased to announce the awards for the State of Colorado's Legislature allocated $500,000 for the 2025 Preventing Identity-Based Violence (PIBV) Grant Program. Eight recipients were selected to receive funding as directed by HB22-1234. 

 

Thank you to all of those who applied for the 2025 PIBV Grant Program. This year’s application window saw a record amount of requests and the process was extremely competitive. Everyone is eligible to apply again next year. The funding announcement for the 2026 PIBV Grant Program will be in the first calendar quarter of 2026.

  • Aurora Public Schools: $75,000

  • Counterterrorism Education Learning Lab: $149,363

  • Mariposa Center for Safety: $80,000

  • Montrose County School District: $33,600

  • Pike's Peak State College: $35,597

  • Rocky Mountain Equity: $15,588

  • University of Northern Colorado: $60,852

  • UC Health: $50,000
