The Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (DHSEM) is happy to announce the local funding awarded by a grant opportunity through the State Homeland Security Program (SHSP) created by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Funding Opportunity Number: DHS-25-GPD-067-00-98. The SHSP enables DHS to make investments in local and state government agencies, improving the security of critical infrastructure and improving the resilience of the services governments provide their community.
We received 60 project applications from 36 different applicants all around the State of Colorado. Twenty-five local government grant project applications were approved totalling $3,490,200 by the HSAC Project Scoring Committee. Thank you to all of those who applied for the State Homeland Security Program (SHSP).
