The Colorado Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (DHSEM) announces the availability of funds through the School Security Disbursement (SSD) Grant Program created by the Colorado State Legislature's HB22-1120. The SSD Grant Program provides funding to local education providers and eligible nonprofit organizations to use for the purpose of improving security within public schools.
Application and Review Process
All eligible applications received by the due date of January 6, 2023, will be reviewed by the Grant Selection Committee (GSC). GSC members will review submitted applications each week throughout the application period to stay on track with the timetable put forth in the legislation, so please submit your application as soon as possible.
