March 14 Colorado DR4634 Update: Boulder Fires and Straight Line Winds

The donation and resource center has provided the following support to survivors of the Marshall Fire and Straight Line Winds event:

  • 2,905 Survivors Served
  • 1,204 Families Supported
  • 157,678 Articles Distributed
  • $26,574 Gift Cards Issues

Beginning March 13 the donation center will be open on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  The donation center will be closed Friday, April 15 at 4 p.m. through Sunday, April 17.

School Access For Emergency Response (SAFER) Grant Announcement

The Colorado Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (DHSEM) announces the availability of funds through the School Access For Emergency Response (SAFER) Grant Program created by the Colorado State Legislature's SB18-158.  The SAFER Grant Program provides funding for interoperable communication hardware, software, equipment maintenance, and training to allow for seamless communications between existing school communications systems and first responder communications systems.
